Other commission types, such as comics, book covers, character designs, or graphic/logo designs, will require a custom quote, which will be provided after contact.
If you intend to purchase any commercial work, the starting quote for any commission type will start at a minimum of 3x the noncommercial price.
General Terms of Service
- Please provide references for your desired piece, either visual or written. This helps speed up the process and ensures I can create a piece to your liking.
- Communication will be maintained through email or discord. You must provide one or the other (whichever you prefer) when you contact me.
- I have the right to drop or refuse your commission at any time, for any reason.
- I will NOT allow hate speech, pedophilia, or bigotry including but not limited to homophobia, transphobia, and racism. Those who attempt to request these topics will be automatically rejected.
Payments
- All payments are processed through PayPal Invoice, in $USD. Provide your PayPal email when you contact me.
- An upfront payment is required before I start a commission. This will either be the payment in full, or a split payment of 50% upfront, 50% before completion. Chose which method you prefer when you contact me.
- Your commission will not be completed until payment has been made in full.
- Finished pieces are non-refundable.
- Tips are not required, but greatly appreciated!
Work & Revisions
- Commissions are typically completed within 1-3 weeks after the first payment starts.
- Any delays in commission work will be communicated promptly through the provided communication methods.
- Please inform me if the commission is needed by a specific deadline. The rush fee for anything under 7 days is an additional +50% (ex. $110 commission will have $55 added).
- You are encouraged to ask for adjustments whenever I present a Work in Progress (WIP).
- All WIPs fall under the same use and intellectual property rights as finished pieces, no exceptions.
- No further adjustments can be made after the commission is completed.
- All completed commissions are sent to the recipient through file sharing websites such as Dropbox or Google Drive, to ensure quality retention.
Rights, Usage, and Credits
- Clients gain exclusive rights to personal use of their finished commission, which can not be transferred to another party. Personal use includes but is not limited to the following examples: online avatars/pfps, personal website sidebars or galleries, prints displayed in private residences/homes.
- I, Cosmignon, retain copyright and ownership of finished commission work. I may use any piece in my portfolio, website, or social media. You must specify in your request if you would prefer your commission stay private.
- Please tag and credit me as Cosmignon if you repost your commission on social media.
- DO NOT edit, remove, or otherwise tamper with my signature on the piece.
- DO NOT resell any personal piece you purchased, sell derivative works based on the piece, or mass-produce it for profit. Commercial work must be solicited separately from personal work, and is subject to increased fees.
- DO NOT use any piece for any NFT/cryptocurrency projects. I do not condone NFT’s in any way shape or form.
- DO NOT use any piece for any AI/LLM projects, or feed it into AI image generators. I do not condone AI image generators in any way, shape, or form.
- DO NOT share my work on X/twitter. X/twitter’s Grok AI allows anyone to edit images with AI, and that violates my above restrictions re: AI.
